Dear Friends in Christ, 

Thank you for your support and generosity 
Many thanks to a ll who helped make our Priest Anniversary Celebration such a special occasion. On behalf of all the priests, please know of our gratitude for your support and all those who helped in so many ways to make the Mass and party afterward such a memorable event. Thank you all!  You are all such a great gift to the priests here at SJN and know what an honor it is to serve you and bring the Lord Jesus Christ to all of you.  May the good Lord bless you for your generosity.  

New Liturgical Furniture 
After consulting extensively with the leadership in the parish, it was decided to purchase some new liturgical furniture.  You will notice a new Ambo (lectern), Baptismal Font, presider and deacon chairs, and credence table.  It was more in keeping with the original design of the Church and the liturgical documents to place the presider’s chair closer to the altar and to move the ambo to the opposite side of the altar.  This opened up room for a more permanent place for the baptismal area and font which fits in nicely in the space where the presider’s chair was and is clearly desired in the liturgical documents.  The presider’s chair was too grandiose for a simple parish priest (it was meant for a pope!), but that chair will find a place in the building at some point in the future due to its historic significance.  Many thanks to the anonymous donor who provided funds for the entire project.
