The Assumption of Mary falls each year on August 15th. While it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, are celebrating with a Vigil Mass at 5:30pm on Friday, and our regularly scheduled 9:00am mass on Saturday.

Holy Land Carvings
Holy Land Carvings represent the Christian wood carvers of Bethlehem that rely on tourism to support their families. Due to the bad situation and the interruption of the tourist trade, thousands of families in the Holy Land are in danger of having to leave their homes in search of work. Holy Land Carvings sells the olive wood carvings to the to help the Christian families remain in their homes and support their families. These beautiful carvings include Nativity Scenes, Crucifixes, Rosaries, Statues, The Last Supper, and several other religious items.
Holy Land Carvings has been supported by St. John Neumann parishioners and friends since 2018. Usually they bring their beautiful olive wood carvings to our church for sale. This year, with COVID-19 affecting us, we are pleased to offer another way to continue our support for the Christians of the Holy Land.
