Are you grieving the loss of a family member or loved one?
If you have experienced the death of a family member or loved one within the last three years, you are invited to join a six-week grief group through St. John Neumann beginning Monday, December 5, 2022. The group meets at the Neumann House from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
While the experience of grief is profoundly personal, navigating the loss with others is often a source of consolation for the bereaved. As a shared experience, a grief group can offer a place of rest, and comfort during a time of acute grief and loss.
Over the course of six weeks, the group will provide a place to share your own experience, explore the grieving process and discuss methods to help ease the pain of grief. The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for the bereaved. As a community of faith, we will also consider ways to enter into the quiet of Advent during what can often be a busy time of year.
