2025 SJN Men’s Retreat
The Servants of the Secret Fire:
Men Empowered by the Spirit for the Mission of Eucharistic RevivalJanuary 31 – February 2, 2025

Led by Retreat Master Fr. Andy Davy, MIC, a Marian Father of the Immaculate Conception, one of the national Eucharistic preachers for the national Eucharistic Revival, and a son of St. John Neumann parish.
Fr. Andy will explore our Christian vocation as men using excerpts from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings who was a devout Catholic and had a deep love of the Eucharist.
"The Servants of the Secret Fire: Men Empowered by the Spirit for the Mission of Eucharistic Revival" will examine the priestly, prophetic and kingly call of the baptized through the lens of the Lord of the Rings and how the laity can awaken to discover this forgotten calling, particularly as men. Come and learn how we can live a Eucharistic spirituality through our baptismal gifts of priest, prophet, and king!

Are you looking to deepen your relationship with God? Be a better husband? Become a more loving father? Build friendships with other like-minded men? And seek to be the man God is calling you to be?
Then come join us for the beginning of our 26 week fall/spring program!
The theme for this year is "Apostles of the New Springtime." We will start off by journeying through the Glorious Mysteries in order to see the infinite goodness of God triumph over evil. We will witness the lives of the Apostles as evidence of the Resurrection of Jesus and the proof of Pentecost and see how the Lord is sending the same Holy Spirit to stir our hearts and send us forth today.
"That Man Is You," is a fraternal lecture series within the SJN Men's Ministry. Each year we gather men together to explore how to respond to our call to holiness and how to address the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture. We meet Saturday mornings for prayer, breakfast, a video and small group discussions. Through our fellowship, we build up and support each other in our journeys of faith.

>>MEN OF ST. JOSEPH AT SJN<<Men Helping Men Pursue Catholic Purity“Men of St. Joseph” is a regular gathering of men striving to more fully live out the virtue of chastity.
We courageously share our concerns and experiences with each other in an atmosphere of prayer, caring, and support, with a strict commitment to confidentiality. We pursue sexual purity of mind, body, and spirit, and freedom from behaviors that create obstacles to God’s grace.
Through trusting friendships, we support each other during challenging moments, whenever they occur. In the last 10 years, we’ve found brotherly accountability and living a true Catholic sacramental life to be effective tools to help us grow in the virtue of chastity in order to become the men God calls us to be. A priest is available to us for individual confessions monthly.
