Grades 1, 2, 3 and 5: Tuesday OR Wednesday evening, 6:00-7:15 p.m. Grade 4 Wednesday only.

Grades 6-8:  Wednesday evenings ONLY, 6:00-7:15 p.m.

Grades 9-12 seeking sacraments:  Sundays, 6:15-8:15 p.m.

Grades 9-12 begin Sunday, September 8, 2024 Grades 1-8 begin Tuesday and Wednesday, September 10 and 11, 2024

GRADES 1 THROUGH 8

Saint John Neumann carries out its mission to assist and support parents in their efforts to build a foundation of lifelong learning, by offering a catechetical program for students in Grades 1 through 8. Our program runs mid-September through mid-May.

We follow the Archdiocese of Washington Religion Curriculum Guide: Forming Disciples for the New Evangelization, which highlights 6 key elements of Catholic Life: Knowledge of Faith, Liturgy and Worship, Morality, Prayer, Education in Living in the Christian Community and Evangelization and Apostolic Life.
